This is a good and encouraging article. However, the U.S. government and the DOJ Bush-holdovers are ruthless to say the least. To say that affiliates are safe is being ignorant in this current environment. Recall, there are those that said that a UIGEA would never come to fruition in their lifetime. I would recommend the following to U.S. affiliates, to be totally safe:
– Declare all of your affiliate income, and make sure you pay tax on it;
– Market to non-US based players. There is certainly nothing illegal about that;
– If you haven’t been already, start attending regular sessions of your favorite religious
sermons, and pray, pray, pray !
