DMOZ is not what it used to be so donty make it the end all be all of links. In ther old days it made a giant push for google rankings, that is no longer the case as of the last 3 years. DMOZ is great as you pick up a lot of links from sites using dmoz data but its really not a giant beast as it used to be.
