Pretty much any company that can afford high paid lawyers will do, as they tend to be the best.
You got fired. Get over it. Most massive conglomerates and publicly traded companies utilise labout from outside their own country, as the labout tends to be cheaper. Next you will be telling me that you are also going to take on Nike and other sportwear companies for producing stuff in India or China, or that you wont drink coffee as the beans come from a coutry where they pay a pittance.
I am not defending them, or saying that this is necessarily acceptable personally, but its the way of the world – anyone in business buys or supplies a product that they have bought for cheaper than they sell it for.
Sorry, dude – think you should just write this off to experience and move on. And a 6 month non competitor clause is pretty standard not just in this industry, but also quite a few others (although you got fired, so the contract doesnt count, so you *could* go and work somewhere else without any problems – if you had resigned, then you would have had to honour the contract, and they would normally (and by *they* I mean any company) would pay you for this time off as gardening leave).
