I’ve noticed that customer service levels at CryptoLogic, Playtech and William Hill have improved. Competition is usually a very good thing for any industry. It will be interesting to see what mergers may occur in the current landscape. There’s only so much room at the top and this is no different in the iGaming sector. The above entities are looking very strong, and other strong brands we have good experiences with include Virgin Games, PKR, Betfair and JackpotCity. Marvel, and now DC comic themes are red hot and are likely to stay that way for a while yet. Expect slots on the likes of Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant and maybe even Rowdy Roddy Piper and Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. WWE legends are all the rage leading up to WWE WrestleMania. A UFC online slot is also a possibility. Party looks good on the whispers regarding Rambo and Frank Sinatra. Hollywood slots are on fire.

Lottery.co.uk to be first TGN site to utilize CryptoLogic software

From the CAP Newswire:

March 24, 2009 (CAP Newswire) — CryptoLogic Limited has announced the signing of an agreement to provide its Internet casino software to The Gaming Network (TGN), starting in the third quarter of 2009.

Owner of many the most popular gaming sites in the U.K., the Malta-based TGN is widely respected for offering a unique and beneficial gaming platform. Among the many TGN brands are BingoBoogie.co.uk, Bingonanza.co.uk, and Lottery.co.uk.

Under the terms of the agreement, CryptoLogic will become TGN’s exclusive supplier of download casino software, and will also supply TGN’s brands with a full suite of non-download casino games. Lottery.co.uk, which, according to a news release issued by CryptoLogic, receives more than 2.2 million page views and 800,000 unique visits per month, will be the first TGN brand to carry the CryoptoLogic software.

“CryptoLogic’s casino software is both highly popular and highly profitable, and today that earns us the confidence of yet another European customer,” said Brian Hadfield, CryptoLogic’s President and CEO. “It’s significant that through one agreement, CryptoLogic will supply Internet casino software to several leading brands — and that will add to our revenue and profitability in late 2009 and beyond.”

“We are very familiar with CryptoLogic’s innovative and entertaining casino software,” said Andrew Branscombe, CEO of The Gaming Network. “We are extremely pleased to be using these industry-leading games on the brands we operate, beginning with Lottery.co.uk. We look forward to hearing the feedback from our players and to introducing the full suite of CryptoLogic games on our other popular sites.”

The agreement marks the latest milestone for CryptoLogic, which, with 280 games, is one of the most comprehensive online casino suites today. CryptoLogic recently earned Gambling Online Magazine’s Top Casino Software award for the fourth consecutive year. Based on the votes of players around the world, it is widely considered the industry’s top honor.

“This deal with The Gaming Network puts CryptoLogic’s casino games on successful, high-traffic sites in markets where we continue to grow — and that fits in perfectly with our business strategy,” added Justin Thouin, CryptoLogic’s Vice President of Product Management and Business Development.
