Nice post, but don’t be so fast volunteering me here. :hattip:

let Dominique run the forum and deal with the Affiliate Managers, she is highly respected by all, she has nothing to do with whats going on in your personal lives, and I among the rest of us, [ i believe i can speak for everyone on this] TRUST Dominique.

That is a really nice thing to say, but that would be a major undertaking and I do have my own business to run.

And deal with the affiliate managers – yikes! That pesky lot! :3eyes:

I have always been happy just volunteering as mod, I have learened tons from all of you, affiliates and managers alike, and it was time well spent. I have never had any desire to run an aff forum. There are some tough decisions to be made as you go and I have always been happy not being the one to make them.

Posting a lot and moving threads around and cracking the occasional whip when people get belligerent is a lot easier than having full responsibility.

What I like most about CAP is that we were able to straighten out a lot of things that went wrong with various aff programs. Just the other day bestpartners and casino blasters removed their bad terms. It got lost in the scuffle here.

So far the only major problem we haven’t been able to straighten out is the Grand Prive disaster.

So that is one thing I love about CAP. The other is how we competitiors come together and help each other out. Newbies learn from experienced people, but I have also learned a lot from newbie questions, sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees and new eyes make everything clear.

And it’s not just on a business level, we have helped each other on a personal level and many of us became good friends over the years.

So I see plenty of reason to save CAP, but only we affiliates can save it. It’s all down to us. Do we see the value and do we care to keep it going?

Obviously some affiliate programs will leave after all of this, but – in the end – the programs will be where the affiliates are. So, it’s still up to us.

I don’t know what solution Lou and Warren will arrive at. I think a lot will depend on that too, because we as affiliates will likely base our decisions on these solutions.

But make no mistake, this is all in our hands in the end.
