I think the jury is out on how many pathologically optimistic people with their heads in the clouds will follow Joe’s logic. I mean you’ve really got to look on the bright side if you believe, politics aside, that you can increase your wage more than six fold amidst one of the worst economic crises in history?
Also I find it slightly comical that someone who posses the gift of magically making it from 40k to 250k+ within a short space of time can not get over giving up 3% of his salary? I.e. someone who has the capacity to produce a 600%+ annual ROI on his own wage really worries about 3%? I very much doubt it!
It’s just those folks in cloud cockoo land and that constituency is becoming smaller by the day. Those are the people on annual wages of 15k who took out 100k mortgages and are now all surprised that it went so horribly wrong – DOH! :wink-wink
