I paid to get SEDO or some other domain sales place to rate my domain in order to put it up for sale. So they took my domain and site that resides there, a 7 letter dotcom that’s been online nearly ten years. Had a PR6 at the time, 850,000 uniques a month, 3.5 million page views.

Their estimate? less than $1000. Monthly revenues for the site (not gray in anyway) are about $2000 per month. Based on revenues/net profit it’s worth $50-100k.

Great job appraising my domain: a rip off and a job done not by a person actually reviewing things, but a stupid program that must only work off the input by the operator, clearly Alexa or any other public metric wasn’t even considered. And since i didn’t tell them what the traffic and revenues were, they had no clue about the domain or website.
