for US its about oil. if they really cared about nuclear weapons they would do something about Pakistan getting them. Somehow the fact that Pakistan has gone nuclear and is a breeding ground for taliban fighters doesn’t seem to bother US at all…double standards I say…

i do think that Israel has the right to defend itself. but i’m not too sure if bombing Iran on the assumption that they are developing nuclear weapons, and not nuclear energy, would really help the whole situation in middle east. Ahmadinejad obviously had an agenda of some sort when he said that Israel should be wiped off the map (although there are questions whether this was actually what he said or poor translation), but i do not think any country in their right mind would even come close to attacking Israel. hamas/hizboulah maybe, but not a country. nobody is stupid enough to unleash the wrath of USA on them.
