It’s sad to say, but Obama only won because he got 95%+ of black votes (but they aren’t racist, right?).
The thing is, Democrats ALREADY own a huge amount of ethnic votes (blacks and hispanics). In every election they get about 90% of black votes. So where exactly are all those new votes he’s supposed to bring in? Every election people try to build a case that “young voters” will make a difference. The fact is it never happens. It’s the same in every democracies, 18-24 people don’t vote.
Bush or no bush, the US is filled with conservatives and conservative people won’t forgive and forget all the Rev. Wright bullshit and the anti-white, we’re victims mentality.
