Fintan, whilst I appreciate you not dodging the questions and being up front about your thoughts, I have to reiterate that there’s no way I will be promoting Paddy Power now.
Policy or not, Paddy Power have clearly made an executive decision to screw over affiliates. Stating that you’re being up front about it doesn’t make it any less dodgy. If I have a website that states “we’ll rip you off”, it’s not right even though I’m stating it for all to see.
It still amazes me that we’re in 2008 and this industry is still rife with programs that thinks it’s fine to take traffic from affiliates that they would NEVER have normally got, and not pay the affiliate their fair due.
I’m moving on.
