I think it’s a general fear of investing a sizeable amount of money and resource in to a payment process and for only a selection of affiliates to actually use it or for something else to come along and squash it, whether it be regulation or a brighter payment method.
I think if affiliates ran a proper petition, so that they came together as a huge group demanding that operators use ASP, you’ll certainly see some of the more established operators, or your money makers as you put it, take it on. As soon as one of the big boys takes the step, you’ll no doubt see others follow. I know one group ideally set to bring a petition forward…
