The topic of fuel makes me pretty angry so I’m going to choose not to read this article…
At the moment we are paying almost $1.60 per litre…
To put that in perspective, 1 gallon = 3.78541178 litre
So if you guys over in the US are paying $4/gallon.. you are paying $0.94/litre
Which means we are paying almost twice as much for our fuel.. and thats standard fuel, not premium.
For someone who spends over $600/month on fuel JUST TO GET TO WORK AND BACK, you can imagine why it gives me the shits (Aussie for ‘it makes me really angry’).
The funniest thing is that it costs me less to drive to work from where i live now than to actually move to Sydney (I live approx 1.5-2 hours away).
Stupid politicians and their taxes on everything.
