You know it amazes me what the FBI wants to do, and also worries me, where would they “stop” if something like that were to happen, I highly doubt they would just stop at the reasons for putting something like that in place!
I can understand the need for some information in some cases, but there are already things in place that police, govt agencies etc can get the information they need when they need it. Perhaps keep it like it is and get their intelligence elsewhere, then use the tools available to obtain records and information on a case by case basis.
Also makes me question, would they use something like this to sneak in on the pretenses in the article then realize hmmm we can crack down on the US online gamblers.
