They know once they leagalize it they will never beable to make it illegal again if they wanted too. This is an all or nothng proposition. If they do make it legal and some unforseen ramifications manifest themselves because of it. hey will never beable to go back to pre-legalization status. On this merit alone it will never happen.
States are already taking the lead on the issue, in many ways. It’s only a matter of time, imo. The biggest resistance will continue to be from drug companies and those profiting from illegal substances, just as it is now.
