If the change was in reaction an unforeseen blocking of the site by the Italian authorities then the announcement was always going to be retroactive. In that case, perhaps they acted as quickly as they could. To be fair, I got an email and a message on the stats login page. It’s not an ideal situation, but perhaps they handled it as well as might be expected…
