Every now and then someone sends me a Facebook link. On occasion I click on it because it’s someone I know… and every time I get to Facebook it asks me to log in or register an account.
Needless to say, I close that window. I don’t have a Facebook account now and I don’t anticipate getting one either.
While I understand the value of social networking, I think that if I want to share information with friends and family, either I can do it through my blog, or I can do it through my own programming. Ain’t no way I am going to potentially give access to my personal details on one of these sites.
