We’re betsson affiliates too …

I’ll back up what the other affiliates are saying here about the affiliate lounge statistics not being very useful. However I do wonder whether half the problem is that the field names do not actually reflect the numbers.

EG.
Casino, Poker, Sports Book & Exchange All share the Clicks and Customer Numbers
Sports Book & Exchange Share Deps and Amt.

I also wonder whether the Deposit amount is actually a true deposit amount as we understand it (ie from customer bank account into Betsson) or whether it simply reflects a turnover number or even a transfer from the Betsson wallet into the casino/poker portion of the account??

Finally, remember that Betsson exchange is pretty much the flagship destination for punters at Betsson (offers better prices than the sports book) but that you do not share in wins/losses there – only in the 3% traffic on winnings.

So a punter could deposit and lose 1000 euros in the exchange and you get nothing – because Betsson did not charge a fee on losing bets.

Or a punter could deposit and win 1000 euros – get charged 30 Euros (3%) and you get 25% of that …. or just 8 Euros.

Either way the WIN on the exchange report does not reflect the customer wins/losses.

Eg) My sportsbook numbers for January 2008 were 17,320 deposited (between exchange and sportsbook) but only 70 (sportsbook) and 118 (exchange) in profits.

For me it’s unheard of that punters would only lose 1% of total deposits and not be continuing to play – so I suspect that the reporting is not providing us the numbers that we think that they are.

All I’m saying is that I beleive in Betsson’s integrity or I wouldn’t be promoting them but I do agree that there is a major disparity between numbers reported at Betsson / Affiliate Lounge and other places.

Stuart – you could help a great deal by clarifying exactly what those numbers mean for us. And by breaking out sportsbook and exchange AMt and Dep numbers.

I give you authority to share my January 2008 numbers here – or please get back to me and I’ll share them with the board.
