The question is too vague to be useful.

Taking it back to a real world example it’s like asking how many people do you need to come into your shop to make regular money.

When you do that then you immediately know that it depends on :
– what you’re selling and how you’re selling
– what your fixed costs are
– what advertising you’ve done to attract spending visitors
– how well you’ve dressed your shop/website to sell

Demographic numbers vary wildly between sites – and sites with “sticky content” like active forums and daily content will get lots more visitors … but those visitors are very unlikely to buy each and every time so the ratio drops hugely.

We get 4000 – 5000 visitors per day (double on weekends) but I would say that new RMP each month are probably only 2x those supplied by Weblight above.

However, the content enables us to generate repeat purchases from exisiting player – meaning that we have an active player base of 10x-20x maybe even 30x the monthly total.

(eg one of my sportsbooks that gives detailed figures recorded 47 new depositors AND 1541 total deposits from our players last month)

So with just two responses you’ve already got :
– Weblight with 6000 visitors get 150 RMP (1 in 12)
– Gooner with 200,000 visitors getting 300 RMP (1 in 666)

That probably shows the extent of the range (most sites will be somewhere in between) and it will depend on your markets, your stickiness, the amount of short term content, and the quality of your traffic sources.
