Dom – are you sure about this – surely it is only a rumour? It just doesn’t make sense to me that casino groups would do this unless they have decided they don’t need affiliates any longer. I don’t usually doubt you but this idea is plain stupid when you think about it and I would be incredibly surprised – actually, make that dumbfounded – if any casino groups do this. I know a lot have tried to reduce affiliate costs in the past in some, er, “questionable” ways, but they really aren’t this stupid. Sorry but I don’t buy it unless, as I say, they have decided they don’t need affiliates anymore. There are far better ways to reduce overheads than to alienate your marketing people.
