Many also are blinded by PR value. I had a site that got a pr 7 but i didnt rank well for the main keyword (non gambling) got +-2 visits a day
heck i dont know why google gave it pr 7!!
now it dropped to 2 but took 6 months…
so… pr has nothing to do with traffic
