FYI here is an email that just came in from ASP. It gives you an idea of what goes on…
I just wanted to update you on the meeting that we had today with XXXXXXX XXXXX.
The timing was opportune since they are planning to change their entire way they pay their Affiliates and are looking to move away from paying via the XXXXX cashier and pay them directly. The commented that player payment tools were being “bastardised” for use with Affiliates and that they were not ideal in terms of getting funds to Affiliates.
They were very complementary about ASP so much so that by the end of the meeting they were talking to us seriously about using ASP for all their Affiliate payments worldwide and even making the ASP application page mandatory at their Affiliate signup stage. (Again this is proof that the product has real benefits not just in the US.)
The only bit of bad news is that they are not looking to move away from XXXXX until 6 months time. We asked them about the possibility of integrating ASP first on XXXX and they were not keen on that since they said it would be a big issue for them in terms of technical and also it would confuse the message when they launch with us.
Anyway a very positive meeting and we will be following up with them next week.
