It’s nice to see that we’re friends again,
I must say that I was completely shocked by the reactions I got for this thread, off course not only from you, and i don’t hold it against anyone. I’m a newbie, and I didn’t know the netiquette, and adding to that, i was totally blasted elsewhere and got a bullocking from my boss. I felt like being xrayed might be better…
I’m happy to see that we’re back and put this behind us.
The best thing about this thread is that it became a very educatinal one, plus, people here are very professional. Reading this thread from top to bottom makes a better script than most TV shows today. How about we make a reality show of “affiliate/affiliate manager survivor”??
And if it’s a script I guess we’re supposed to reach climax by now… so, one of us is supposed to save the day and run off with the girl, right? I hope it’ll be me.
The most important thing an affiliate manager should have is good connections; with his affiliates, with other people on line and in general – to maintain good connections with everyone he talks to. As an OK person and an affiliate manager making his first steps in the industry I think I would like to have a good connection with all of you who took the time to reply, to re-read and then reply again
Oh, and another important part of my job is that i get a budget to pay for the :capmiami:
drinks at conventions so you guys will be the first I invite in the next conference. No plans to go to Barcelona yet (too new ) but if not then London (better beer…).
Thank you for helping me out,
