I have never found an all-in-one solution, but I have looked at a number of things but was never happy about many of the free ones.
I had actually found an asp driven script that would check for the reciprocal link, but it did not include a spider and only would check a specific page. It would scan the entire page and look for the link as a string value.
This was a simple page with a form field on in that you would place the link into and submit which would then perform the check.
I am sure that with some work someone could easily do a select from a db and post to the page to automate the process.
Again, since I never cared for any of the projects I had looked at in the past, I never went much further with it and do not have the time available now it requires.
I am however quite interested in what you come up with so please let me know if you find something reasable.
If you can’t find anything and would like the checking script, let me know maybe I can find it….it must be in a backup of the webserver somewhere.
