I just heard back from one of the affiliates and here was there input:

Quote:
Hi Lou,
I felt this topic was important enough that I wanted to get you pointed in the right direction.

I have been arguing the exact same thing as you for years. They are shaving, well, butchering is more like it.

For me, this goes all the way back to a guy named David Malloy. I got no where with Simon on the matter, then he quit, but when John Hartley took over, the truth came out, and this was subsequently verified by Jon Jon, who like all the others could do nothing to fix it.

I went thru loads of crap with Natilie on it as well, and again, they all refused
to acknowledge the error in their accounting.

Actually, Natilie never really understood it as far as I could tell, or if she did,
she was running interference for them. I don’t think she was though. I just
don’t think she could get a grip on how to do the math. It is rather confusing
as you will see when you try to calculate those Manager bonuses out.

That said, here’s the real issue, and truth in what they are doing.

Those HUGE manager bonuses are NOT cashable to the player. They remain in the account, and at the months end are not factored out to reflect the TRUE net loss.

At one point, they owed me over 12k, and I never saw it of course. Cirrus and Club Player mainly. This seems to happen with big players.

The guy I had in there for years was depositing 5, and many times 10k at a whack, and getting a matching “Manager Bonus” He would lose 20k, {the 10k real, and the 10k non cashable},and my commission would be ZERO for the month while gambling wages went to the bank with the 10k real, and the affiliate gets ZIP.

Where it gets confusing is when the player has only lost, lets say,…. 6 grand
at month end.

In this example, The stats will show he has 14k in his account against a 10k deposit. Or he is 4 grand up on the casino, when in fact he is actually 6k REAL down. Your commission will show a negative on the foney 4k that it shows him as being up. So instead of you getting paid on the 6k, you get a perpetual negative month after month as long as they are enticing the big depositor with those non cashable bonuses.

See, it gets confusing as hell.

Factor those manager bonuses out of their stats, and that should give the honest commission you were due.

I hope that helps, and more importantly, I hope this gets resolved so people don’t get screwed by these people anymore!
