I’ve gone through a checklist of possibilities, and now I’m pretty sure it’s because I changed all the meta tags a few days ago. Another site that I modified the meta tags for has also taken a hit. If this is the case, then I should be back in there soon… i hope 
It’s almost seems as if google will take a site out of the serps while it re-indexes and re-ranks it or something like that.
