I think we are more dependant on them than they are on us. Besides the fact that the most US foreign debt is to China, their products are all over the shelfs – if Chinese products got pulled out tomorrow – there would be about 20-30 items left in sotres like Walmart and Krogers.
The example with the mushrooms was from my recent discovery that the brand “Pennsylvania Dutch” was Made In China. What an oxymoron!!!
I always try to buy products made in the local market (depending on the country I am currently in), so I decided to find mushrooms made in USA – nope, all of them are made in China…mushrooms…I just wonder what happens to the mushrooms made here – do they ship them to China?!?
