Whatever has happened it’s criminal that affiliates are wearing the cost in this fashion. If you run your business in such a way where you lose some cash, then you take a hit and learn from your mistake. You don’t penalize your marketing partners for something that is out of their control.
My intuition tells me the exact same thing happened with IOG recently; they just did a better job of explaining it away.
