Just something that may shed some light. I recently set up a company bank account in the UK (November – NatWest). Despite only being days after the UIGEA was passed, the bank wrote to me asking me to sign forms effectively outlining that I could not use the account directly for any gambling related activities in the USA or with US residents.
I’d imagine if I was a registered casino or gambling company, it was quite apparent that there’s no way they would have let me transfer funds to a US resident. So that’s the UK situation. MY guess is the banks are forcing the casino’s hand on this which would rule out ACH, Bank Wire and Cheque payments to the Land of the Free.
