In fact it works as the opposite as nobody will be able to make money entering in France through French banks FROM any identified source as offering online gaming. They will block what will go in, NOT what will go out.

So, the basic effect is worse as if it is done properly, players can’t claim any winnings, so – nobody will continue to play (0%). However, if players want to cash the money through an ecas…… account or a foreign account, it will work. But that’s not a good situation, in anycase.

Let’s see how it will evolve.

As we are in Europe and this is not a single country like USA, i don’t see how it could be enforced. Casinos can send the money to another European but non French bank and then from that non French bank to France not stating that the money comes from casinos profit. I’m pretty sure there will be lots of ways of doing it. Also probably they can control French banks, but I’m not sure whether for example a Spanish bank that also operates in France, will obey that ban and won’t challenge it in the European court that has already failed against European countries attempts to ban online casinos.

This is the good thing in Europe, we are just a mix of different countries with some common rules but also some really different and it’s hard to enforce a rule to all the members, specially if the European goberment doesn’t favor it.

Let’s see, anyway i guess this won’t be enforced in weeks and could take months, but i would like to be updated by sponsors or somebody with enough knowledge.
