Did you know that all of Canada’s population is about the size of California? Last time I watched “To serve and protect” (Canuck version of “COPS”) they let most criminals off with a warning. No wonder crime is down.
Did you know that there are 2 taxes on goods in Canada PST & GST? And that their income taxes are considerably higher than the U.S.?
Did you know if you have a “non emergency” medical problem like a hernia you could wait up to 2 years to have surgery?
I couldn’t even get a simple X-Ray on my ankle that I knew was fractured. Had to go to the states.
Did you know that last time I crossed the border into Canada they didn’t even ask for ANY identification whatsoever? WTF???
Oh yeah, did I mention the price of booze???
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a big fan of the downfall of western U.S. civilization but I lived in Canada for years and it’s not a big party over there either.
