This is a really great point, Dominique. Although I am currently only promoting to non-US players (given my US situation and choice), I am still very active with Google cleanup and reporting. Although Google is anything but squeaky clean, in the last few weeks I’ve noticed quite a dropoff in the blackhatter entries into the SERPs. I agree, that there is a direct correlation here with the new legislation. Black Hatters are moving into “more lucrative areas”, like the fluorescent shoelaces market, which has exceptionally high payouts and unbelievable residuals (ya know, break a shoelace, you have to get a new one…).
