That’s exactly what France want to do, but it wants to enter into a privately held hidden monopoly. I think big french companies like Groupe Partouche will be given green light, and a few others, plus the state-controled PMU and FDJ.
Anyway, that’s too early to tell something a bit right. Let’s see what will happen. In anycase, for my part I think I’m done with online gambling, and will reconvert elsewhere. It’s maybe an emotive decision, but really this is becoming scary.
