Would it be permanent?
Why there’s no official announcement?
This is just like a rumor… if they are afraid to post it, why don’t they email us?
If I had to guess, I’d say they’re probably still ironing out details before they can post publically – but obviously they need to keep their affiliates informed in private so that they don’t leave.
I would imagine that they are having to do some work, given that Playtech has already said that they won’t accept US wagers. Perhaps Blasters are even doing something really drastic like changing software provider (and perhaps they haven’t yet decided which one, so they can’t announce yet)
But what I am 100% sure of is that they will continue to offer as much support to the US as is possible – Golden Palace are hardly strangers to controversy, and are exactly the sort of outfit that would do whatever they had to to ensure they didn’t lose US revenue.
If they do change software, I’m unsure as to who I want them to go with.. MG is the superior choice, but that would almost certainly involve support for only 39 states. RTG would give total coverage, but (in my opinion) the software is inferior.
Anyway, don’t berate them too much for not announcing yet – it’s great news that they’re staying at all.
