Yes, the dates on the confirmation page are wacky.
I got this message too:
“Congratulations! You have successfully joined the 60% promotion.
You will be getting 60% for the month of October on any new players that join within the following date range:
From:
10/4/2006
To:
9/30/2005
Thank you!”
