I’ve already had that implemented. Nobody can post till they validate their email. Usually the spammers stop at that point. This one didn’t. As he registered I checked his IP and found a valid DNS returned. So I let him continue. After all, anyone is welcome to join. This one had no other intention but to spam.
I know that other forums just merely delete and ban these perpetrators. It seems they have to hire moderators to try and keepup. I know the chore. I’ve better things to do than deleting spam everyday.
Question, is this what PPC is all about? Hiring firms to spam forums then declare innocence because it wasn’t you that actually did the deed. I read a lot of complaints in this forum on the subject. Or, doe’s everybody here think hiring outsiders to do what they’re afraid to do themselves acceptable?
