kwblue – in a previous post i explained the way we got involved with this spam activity. One of our media buyer was working for over 3 years with an agency. This agency was getting monthly budget to acquire players. We normally don’t get involved with their specific media buys, we just provide the funding.

So you are directly responsible for funding a media company which is is directly responsible for delivering hits via SPAM? Well then bottom line you are responsible for that SPAM as well.

One of the campaign that they ran was with a company dealing with legitimate email marketing. Somehow, a spammer got in the loop and that’s how the problem started.

One spammer? This has been going on for 6+ months why hasnt this spammer been weeded out? If this is truly hurting your clients images, why havent you changed media companies?

fictionnet – Send me the piece of spam that you receive and sending to http://www.caribbeanslots.net. This domain and the list that was provided by gamblingguards were setup for various reasons. One is to prevent any sort of email marketing traffic to land directly on our client’s domains

Ahhhh ok so you want to be able to spam and/or use spam traffic and then be able to claim its not your clients fault?

second are alternative domains for the italian market which blocks certain of our domains due to their laws and third as back ups.

So in other words you are cutting corners to break the restrictions one country has set up? Really, how sneaky.

So if you received some spam going to the caribbeanslot’s domain i need to see it so i can make it stop.

Sounds like you might be interested in removing certain emails manually while still spamming others who arent openly complaining. How about putting a stop to it all instead of selectively removing addies? From what I have found this has been going on for 6 months are better.

Gamblingguards – We don’t use those domains to track any sort of spam as we don’t do any sort of spam. Those are generic site which can be used by anyone in order to send traffic to our brands. take your regular affiliate link, change the domain with one on the list below and you’ll see that the tracking works normally, as if you were sending traffic to our regular domains.

Many of the SPAM emails sending traffic to caribbeanslots.net, casinostyle.net, delrioitalia.com, easypoker.org, europeitalia.com, grandeuropa.com, greatpokerclub.org, greentablecasino.com, italiantitan.com, italianvegas.com, and tropezitalia.com have no affiliate or other like tracking codes.

Its either an inside job or an advertising company is tracking the SPAM delivered and all hits to the sites are icing on the cake. Why would anyone agree to send this much traffic to those sites for free eg without any tracking codes or reinbursement from the cleints? Makes no sense.

It’s your choice wether to believe me or not. I gave you facts and some internal information. As much as you hate receiving spam, i hate dealing with the complaints. It’s time consuming, it’s damaging our client’s name as well as my name and i really don’t need that.

This is not a new issue its been going on for many months; why? Because you permit it to happen. If you didnt it would have stopped long ago. Blame it on the media company? Well then fire them. Blame it on affiliates? Well then fire them. What ever the solution is its obvious to most that the SPAM needs to stop now!

All my carreer i’ve been straight forward with every business partner, regardless of the size and the value of the business. This has far more value to me then anything else.

Laurent

Sorry, but this issue should have been resolved a long time ago.
