Sports tends to be closer to the higher end (about 50%) of accounts opened trun into real players but this does vary from site to site.
My 1/3 to 1/2 estimate of numbers was based on our exisiting casino numbers with WagerShare, 32Red, BetFred, Bet365 and others.
Admitedly, we’ve only being doing casino for a year or so – and our numbers are probably tiny compared to GamesandCasino numbers, but this ratio of 1/3 to 1/2 has been holding solid for that period – on a month by month basis.
I notice that some casinos convert better than others though – our Ladbrokes conversions stink – but if you’ve ever tried to signup with them as a non-UK resident then you’ll know why. The processes and extra hurdles simply put people off.

And that was the gist of my point for the Referback question by Nauti Kitten– if the stats are accurate (and I beleive Auditor when he says they are) then what is the problem / hurdle that so many affiliates and customers have in joining and depositing.
If the stats are accurate – and there is nothing funny about the traffic then there is a real usability or conversion problem.
