The Dutch instigated that whole mess, Portugal came to play soccer, Dutchy came to hack their key players…what happened during the course of the game doesn’t matter, anybody would retaliate in that situation…it’s who started it that matters in my opinion…and that was when the Dutch went after Ronaldo to try and get him out of the game right at the start, 5 minutes into the game
Unfortunately, the only piece of the game I missed was the first 10 minutes so did not see this bit first hand. While I agree to a point about the instigator idea, I still do not condone retaliation that lasts the entire game.
