I’m sorry you came here expecting to find no resolution ? Rather a waste of time.. Why did you bother ? Belive me if i felt one person on my site was cheated.. I’d be all over the internet and I WOULD find a resolution..
Some of you may take their claim with a grain of salt. Others may look at what was presented here and see that the players were cheated. I’m not asking anyone to publicly support this issue! The peer pressure here has to be enormous! This is a big $$$$$$ issue against a very successful and powerful site. We have no expectations, If we only get a message to a few affiliates fine!
I have recently began promoting Vic’s pretty heavily. Which is why I found your thread so quickly in the Rev Giants thread. The peer pressure is a bit over my head though, you see I run a business, not a high school. I am interested in the outcome of your dispute, as I’m sure many ppl that promote Vics and other Rev Giants properties are. You did get a responce from RG so I guess we shall have to wait and see. These things seem to take atleast a few weeks to iron themselves out once they pop up here.
I am sure CAP thanks you for both the backlink and exposure.. As for etiquette, not much into it myself, IMO a person that does not want their email copied into a thread has something to hide. There are those that have that lil confidentiality disclaimer in them .. dunno how that stands up in court, but.. if I make an agreement with anyone via email, or IM, and they do not uphold to that agreement, and this is where i choose to resolve my dispute, in order to prove that I treated them fairly, and was not treated in kind, the email would come right along with the post..
We do do that there, actually, that’s why I am a member, and why I read threads daily, programs are accountable to both players and affiliates. You did post in the right place, and received a pretty quick responce from Rev Giants..
As a forum owner, I’m sure you realize that new members, that post negatively, without so much as a hello in the newbie dept.. are automatically scrutinized, it doesnt mean that noone belives you, or gives a damn what you have to say, it means that we will likely have alot more questions for you, as we know nothing about you.
If a Senior member here were to post the same thing that you did, he wouldn’t have recieved the same scrutiny, because we’ve probably all read a few hundred of his/her posts and have some idea what he/she is about..
Anyway, good luck, and I hope that your players do get what they deserve, from what I’ve read so far, it does look as though they deserve something… as for errors, what did their contract with the site say when they signed up, just curious here..
