If our future partners feel that strongly about it … I don’t see to much harm in asking to have it removed.

This very clause has prevented me from promoting an otherwise very respectable and trustworthy program for years now.
I do very much see it as blackmail. And, if you’re not planning on using it, why have it in the first place?
