We just arrived in Key West today and it’s gorgeous weather. We will resume fishing on Thursday and Friday as we need to rest up from Ft. Lauderdale.
We went out there yesterday and fished for about six hours straight. The seas were a little rough in the beginning but smoothed out after the first hour. We caught about 12 good sized King Fish, two Bonitas, one mahi mahi which we kept and one large Sail Fish which we released. We never caught so many large fish in one trip!
My arms and legs are sore and stupidly I missed two huge spots on my shoulders when putting on sun block. If it wasnt so painful I would find having purple shoulders amusing. :lookaroun
It’s been a fantastic trip so far and we can hardly wait to hit the flats and see what we catch down here.
