Ok, now I am getting irritated.
What do you know about what I do outside CAP? Nothing. Unless you are lurking in the bushes out there watching.
You don’t even understand what I do inside CAP.
I am a volunteer. I have volunteered here at CAP for some 5 years and always stuck around even when involved elsewhere. I have no financial interest at all in CAP, nor do I have any financial dealings with the Professor. Not that I wouldn’t want to, but there just has not been any occasion for it.
I am here to keep the peace, and on occasion it is a very ungrateful job as people who are arguing tend to attack the peace keeper.
I also strongly believe that affliates need to cooperate and support each other, because otherwise we have no stand with the programs. United we are strong.
And that is why I am happy to moderate here and to dispense advice and donate my time. It comes back to me in the form of having a better, cleaner industry to work in.
It is far from perfect, but without a place like CAP we would have little recourse.
Now, I don’t approve or disapprove programs here, all I do is keep the peace. But I do see programs getting their accreditation revoked – like Paradise Poker and recently Party Gaming.
Personally I want to see 888 here. They do slowly clean up some of the messes. They did stop offering the CPA that was causing so many problems. And while they are here they are accessible.
One of the reasons Party is gone is because they were inaccessible even when here. So what’s the point in having them? Obviously not the $ CAP makes or they would still be here.
I can think of a few other programs engaging in the same shenanigans as 888, and anyone who spends so much time out there researching scrapers that they know I am being scraped when I do not (and why not give me the courtesy of pointing it out?) has to know about these other programs too.
No, I actually am not making money with 888. They have one textlink on my site and it doesn’t convert.
Enough on this topic for me.
