I would have to respectfully disagree (with Integrity)… Yes, there were some reactions to misspellings and wording. However, the end result of the Casinomeister thread (the only one I read), was very positive towards the letter in general.
Personally, I think you let it get to you a little too quickly 
There are many people, myself included, who think that spelling and grammer are of utmost importance when drafting a document of such importance.
Nobody is perfect, however, and mistakes will be made. Do not take offense at the remarks, just look at it as 20 editors helping you to make a second draft.
