I wouldn’t worry too much what the top dogs do. I think when a new customer comes to your site and sees a place he wants to play, he signs up. I think its more of an impulse decision more than anything. Im sure there are a few of the smarter gamblers that knows to look for rake back affiliate sites and so forth, but I would lean to say that those people are far and few between. For example, if someone found your site by searching for top poker rooms and he found one he liked on your site, then chances are your going to get him if you have a nice review on the said poker room that will catch this potential players eye. If I was a gambler looking for a new poker room to play at and I found one on your site that caught my eye, I will probably sign up. I dont think I would ask myself, “well maybe we can get a better deal for this poker room on another site”. I just cant see this even coming into play except for the rake back players but I am just a small guy trying to learn the biz so who knows. Good luck.
