Hi James
If you need poker affiliate support, please contact me directly per email rather than post here as I dont check this forum often.
In your subsequent email correspondance with me you clarified the problem issue with me – ie that you are concerned with the fact that the webmaster is making reference to your domain name.
This is using my success to his advantage, he needs to remove it.
This is understandably a frustration for you, however there is very little Fortune Affiliates can do as he is not an affiliate of ours. Also, it is an issue related to use of your corporate name (domain name), which comes down to the legal issue of trade names and their use / abuse.
You would need to approach the webmaster in your personal capacity, as he isn’t contravening any Fortune Affiiate or Poker Room term or condition which would warrant our (or our clients) intervention.
It is unfortunate that many webmasters abuse the use of company names which they have no ownership of. This is a pervasive problem, and one which stakeholders like yourself or other injured parties need to weigh up carefully when considering litigation. Does the true damage incurred warrant the cost (financial, time or emotional) of trying to enforce change.
Very often a friendly email enquiry can elicit unexpected co-operation.
Is the webmaster interested in a formal link-exchange? In this way you both benefit.
Kind regards
Brad
