I agree,
IMHO, no one should be afraid from the sandbox or any other ranking limiting factors from that class.
One year is only an estimation, Why not use this ‘year’ to establish link popularity and PR?
Is google the only SE you are relying upon?
Forget the sandbox or any other “scary” declarations about Google, put your sites up and things will happen.
