I saw a few episodes of Billy Connolly’s tour show and some of the vision was amazing.
Isn’t he the best?! We love him!!!! We watched several episodes of it on the South Island, but were in New Z. during the North Island shows 
bad timing LOL.
We went to the Hobbiton set, where Lord of the Rings was filmed, saw thermal mud pools, geysers and all kinds of awesome scenery. Went to Rangitoto Island http://www.doc.govt.nz/Explore/001~Other-Places/002~Auckland/Rangitoto-Island-Scenic-Reserve.asp
(volcanic island) the walk to the summit about killed me! LOL
But the highlight of our whole trip was on the way to New Z. in Cairns, snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef. That was too pretty for words.
