Guys

I think you all know me quite well and i think that you all know that i speak to affiliates and obtain views but at the end of the day i am just like yourselves in that i need to maintain WJ as a going concern.

Let me explain my motivation for the changes in the terms and conditions

Number one: Please note that the 35% Commission level is for webmasters who are referring traffic and players to Wager Junction partner sites. If no traffic and no players are referred net revenue commission will be dropped to 25% until such time that the next purchasing player is referred. We like to reward our partners but need to ensure that we remain a viable proposition and are rewarding the partners that are promoting us.
I think that my reasoning is quite clear and there is nothing ambiguous about that, if you want to promote me i will pay you at 35%, if you do not want to promote me then you drop down to 25% as you are not marketing me. This occurs at 90% of affiliate programs but they merely put it in monetary terms which means that a major proportion of webmasters will not get to 35% anyway. Please can you explain your objections to this in more detail and i will certainly take a look at it and come back to you with a response.

I think that my model is better -if you are sending me traffic and players you get 35%, if not well you still get 25%

The second point that was raised
Wager Junction will only make payments to active affiliates; an active affiliate account is defined as an account which has generated a minimum of 1 new paying customer for the casino clients of Wager Junction within a 3 month period. If an account does not meet these requirements, at the sole discretion of Wager Junction management, future commission payments may be withheld.”

I did think long and hard about this and essentially this is not something that we would ever enforce, it is merely in there as a buffer or some sort of protection upon reflection it does not look to good and i will remove it. I think that the former point basically states myt position so this is somewhat superfluous.

Terms and Conditions change, just like the environment that we work in these thing always change, I am going to tell you right now what my next insertion is going to be in the Terms and Conditions

Partners our program in dispute with regards to the Copying of Material or Sites will be subject to an investigation by the program. The findings of the program will be passed on to a Partner Council and the ruling of that Council will be final. In most cases any and all funds generated by the offending party will be paid to the party harmed as compensation.

Any volunteers to be a part of the first Partner Council – I would like to propose 5 Partners and they would specifically adjudicate on Partner Disputes and Changes in Terms and Conditions and any other material changes on WJ in combination with ourselves.

That way more of you have a say in what is going on at the program. Let me know what you think regarding that.

Dom with regards to the KS landing page, i have finally won my battle with the powers that be here -they need to be educated as well in the way of the partner, and I will have a landing page dedicated to the casino only by Friday afternoon for my affiliates.

Guys at the end of the day i have managed to persuade the owners that the Affiliate model is the route to follow to get players and value to the Casinos.

They have in the most part followed my recommendations and we have made great strides and will continue to do so together. This is not a process that ever finishes, there is always more to do and sometime we will disagree but for me communication is the be all and end all of this relationship.

Tell me what you want upfront and we can discuss

Now any volunteers for the Council – Ken what about yourself

Regards
Greg
