Yeah. That’s kinda what I meant by if I play the same strategy (eyeball the situation). If I play with the odds using a fixed strategy, then the rest is highly ‘luck of the draw.’
I always play with a strategy… Based upon my cards and dealer’s up card, of course.
However, in a brick and morter, I have some clue if either all of the high cards have been played or all of the low cards… And I adjust my strategy based upon that. It helps my percentage towards the end of the shoe.
However, if I lose that because the cards are continuously ‘shuffled’, then I might rather continue playing in the local casinos.
I would definitely be interested in other’s take on this, though. And I really have not done poorly online with BlackJack… Up a little bit over the time I have played. But that comes and goes more than it has locally.
Hopefully BlackJackInfo can give some more info. However, in the meantime, I will check out Wiz of Odds site to see if I can find anything out.
