Just my thoughts…….but you certainly want to get the best milage out of your $100. That’s like sitting at a blackjack table with $100 and seeing if you can survive making $20 bets. It’s gonna be tough, but not impossible.
Here’s what I would do. First I would invest $8 in a domain name that is similar to the hometown you live in, ex. ChicagoPoker.com, BostonBlackjack.com, BetDenver.com, etc. etc. etc. Just find a catchy domain that’s in your hometown.
Next have that domain redirected and masked to your affiliate link at a reputable casino, pokerroom, or sportsbook.
Okay so now you have $92 left. I would launch an all out assault with an offline marketing campaign. Use that $92 to make fliers and business cards. Your biggest investment from this point forward will be your time. And to be successful you will need to be 100% focused and commited to making this work. Go to all the local bars, college campuses, and shopping centers and sprinkle your marketing material everywhere. Hell put fliers on cars. It’s all a numbers game. The more people that see your URL, the more traffic you will drive.
Although online marketing, websites, and SEO are usually the real meat of successful affiliates don’t overlook offline niche marketing as well. This is how I got my start. All you need to do is get a few sign-ups and start making a little revenue. You then re-invest your monthly revenue into marketing. Eventually you’ll be generating enough to get into the true online game.
Also by this point you will have a better understanding of the industry and how everything works. Like I said, just my two cents but by doing something on a local level it is much easier to manage and to get real “live” people interested versus trying a CPC campaign and saying *@&$ where’d my $100 go!!
Good Luck to you, let us know how it goes
